Sown To Grow is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all students. We are continually working to improve the user experience and apply the latest relevant accessibility standards.

Measures to support accessibility

Sown To Grow takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of Sown To Grow's Student Check-in, Goal-Setting, and Reflection Platform:

• Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.
• Provide continual accessibility training for our staff.
• Assign clear accessibility goals and responsibilities.
• Continually solicit feedback from our users, accessibility experts and advocates, and industry best practices.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA (Industry Standard), and Level AAA. Sown To Grow's software is conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA and partially conformant with Level AAA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) & Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT)

In accordance with industry standards, we have published an Accessibility Compliance Report, including a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template, which details our WCAG 2.2 compliance. You can access the report here. This report was updated July 2024.

Additional accessibility considerations

In addition to striving to meet the WCAG 2.2 AA standards, Sown To Grow also seeks to design developmentally appropriate experiences for students and support multiple language options (if you don't see what you need, just let us know and we can work to add it!).
